Covering the Law
Here's an interesting piece from the Washington (D.C.) Bar Association on the effect of the changing media landscape on covering the law. From covering the pro teams to covering the local zoning ordinances, understanding legal issues is important for journalists, and with fewer people challenged to do more with less (the media catchphrase of these times), journalists who understand the law are becoming a rarer commodity.
