University president is out for stifling student and faculty free speech

 The president of Haskell Indian Nations University was removed from his post after an investigation revealed that he had been stifling the free speech rights of students and faculty. 

The Poynter Institute reported on the situation last October, saying that the president ordered a student journalist not to contact police or other government agencies, essentially saying he could not do his job as a journalist.


Student Journalism Wellness Project offers aid to emerging journalists

 The University of Southern California is offering assistance to student journalists. On its home page, the site says:
